And to my friend Ciara who told me I need to "Blog about [her] awesomeness" -- Ciara, you are totally awesome. Never forget it.
Well, in any case, though, I really find downloading youtube videos useful.
1) I dont have money to buy a lot of music and a lot of it is there and easy to find.
2) Obviously if an artist is putting there music online they are okay with people listening to it and encouraging traffic
3) And lets face it they get that you can download them. Otherwise they would go to said sites and use the "Please dont let people download this video" form for whatever they didnt upload and or what they dont want people to get. Its not really that hard and definitely works.
These are the sites I use:
This is my first bet. Its easy to use, quick, but can only handle videos 20 minutes or lower. It downloads only to mp3 and there is a 15 per half hour limit.
In the first 24 hours of my Easter break, I downloaded approx. 250 songs using this tool. That was handy.
This one is good if someone puts a video of an entire album up. It takes about 1 hour for a 1 hour clip, but I'm not complaining. You can choose several different formats and if someone put up a concert, this would be a good way to save it.
This one I came across the other day and was able to download mp4s on. I want to say that it is quicker than #2 but it is only for mp4s which some video-editing systems cant handle.
I find that when you see something particularly good, its beneficial to get in the habit of downloading sooner rather than later. Once about 3 years ago, I found the coolest random project on venus fly traps that I downloaded for the fun of it. I liked the photoediting as well as the actual content and thought it very cool that a kid did it themselves.
I had it up on my website and one day saw that it had been marked private. Ive actually uploaded it to my channel, but the moral of the story is that I am so glad that there are websites to download videos online because you never know when something is going to be taken down. <3
You'll also get a sneak peak at a sweater that I will be doing a Crochet DIY on later this fall. Make sure that you subscribe so you dont miss it.
