I had a Child Development class this year, and as I can see, *infanticide* happens in this culture as legal as getting a tooth filled. Kids have heartbeats a few weeks old, fingerprints soon after, and before you know it, they could live on their own... were they not killed, that is.

If you ever do a study on the woman who created the Planned Parenthood program (a popular clinic), she thinks super selfishly and thinks that if you are not rich and white, you should be sterilized for the sake of humanity. In fact, she is very racist, perhaps comparable to Hitler and I quote her:

-- The most merciful thing that the large family does to one of its infant members is to kill it.
-- Birth control must lead ultimately to a cleaner race.
-- We should hire three or four colored ministers, preferably with social-service backgrounds, and with engaging personalities.  The most successful educational approach to the Negro is through a religious appeal. We don’t want the word to go out that we want to exterminate the Negro population, and the minister is the man who can straighten out that idea if it ever occurs to any of their more rebellious members.
-- “[Our objective is] unlimited sexual gratification without the burden of unwanted children…[Women must have the right] to live … to love… to be lazy … to be an unmarried mother … to create… to destroy… "
--“We are paying for, and even submitting to, the dictates of an ever-increasing, unceasingly spawning class of human beings who never should have been born at all."

I find it just as scary to see how much Obama loves Planned Parenthood.

In this video of him campaigning out here in PA for his first election he said “I’ve got two daughters. Nine years old and six years old. I am going to teach them first of all about values and morals. But if they make a mistake, I don’t want them punished with a baby.”

I'm just a nobody but even I can tell that this is not quite what I want the Chief of State and the Chief Citizen (ha, its fun to be able to use big words) to be preaching, if I may say so myself.

I strongly disagree with you and I am honestly a bit scared by this post. Whilst I do respect your opinion and understand your point of view, I do not think you truly understand abortion. Do you think a child is happier living with an unfit mother, perhaps under horrible circumstances? I personally do not agree with abortion and would not abort myself, but I do think other women should be able to make this choice for themselves.

Thanks for your comment. The commenting thing is sort of messed up and I see comments for approval like 24+ hours late, but I appreciate hearing from people with views that differ from mine.

Personally, I think that all kids should have a chance at life, and I my first reaction is to want to say that being alive is better than being killed. My own parents have hinted that they were considering aborting me for very legitimate reasons. Meanwhile, I would love to make a mark on the world and unfortunately, having been aborted would have been a pretty major roadblock in this plan.

However, I do get that this whole abortion thing is nothing new. I was saying in my post that its been around almost as long as people themselves with poverty, etc. Even today I see that "unfit" mothers can sometimes provide limited support in a childs years (seen firsthand) and that that abortion can be an opportunity to be rid of the child.

Oh, and a month or so ago, I read an intersted thing about sex-ed in Europe. From what I had seen previously, a lot of the UK girls say that they are taught a lot on preventing pregnancy, and apparently now some of the European countries are borderline not having enough people to have much a next generation. In other words, places like Sweeden or Norway (one was more focused on) have so many abortions in adults as well as a nonexistant amount of teens carrying babies to term that it is a problem. This article I read talked about there being an agenda to get people pregnant, directed at adults but also taught to children in the sex-ed classes. Off topic, but I just find this interesting so I figured I'd tack it on here.
