Now-a-days its rare that I reread books, but when I was little, I liked a book called the Robobots by Mat Novak. As well as Grandma's Gospel by Scharlotte Rich. And I really liked a book titled Purple, Green and Yellow by Robert Munsch (He wrote Love You Forever, too), as well as other books by that author, all of which I would reread constantly.
The cool thing about Robert Munsch is that he creates audio-book recordings for all of his books and puts them online for free. For free online listening, as well as to download. As I found out several years ago, even though you dont get to see the illustrations, theyre fun to listen to whenever.
I recommended these below. All of them. No matter what the calendar claims your age is. I mean, I havent sat down to listen to any of his books for a years, for better or worse, and still recognized his voice. The books are still good; now, take your pick:
