Unfortunately, because we are miles and miles away in PA for the duration of the fall, we are unable to spend time there this year (If you are interested in renting a week or two at Westgate, click here or comment below and we will help you out).
However, now, thinking about the mountains as they enter peak leaf season has inspired me to hold a new and exciting annual photo contest with a nature theme; contest being a poor choice of words because all submissions are very likely to be published on a post ;)
(Photos don’t have to be recent or fall-specific, but I do ask that you do not steal from others and give me your best shot :)
You see, in each of my Monday and Wednesday posts, I try to include an image from nature. Sadly, most of these come from my intermittent Pinterest browsings and even if an original source is listed, you really cant tell if its very credible.
So I’m offering you the chance to submit your own image* (until Thanksgiving Day) for me to use as the base of an image, full and correct image source given.
Similar to credit for guest posts be sure to let me know how you want your name to appear and include a link to your site, if applicable. I ask that any images be sent with a jpg ending. I use imgur to upload personally.
Ready to get out your camera and snap some pictures for me? Brownie points if you share this post on social media- I'll be watching ;)
To submit a photo, use this form: http://fluidsurveys.com/surveys/majesticgoldenrose/majesticgoldenrose-photo-contest/
2014 Deadline: November 27 / Thanksgiving Day
