This is completely up to you guys and gals, a make it or break it. You can comment and meet awesome writing partners or let my post sit dying and lonely like you have done to my current giveaway. *cough*

Seriously though, you want a crit partner to work with you, even if you dont know it yet,  just as they want someone to work with too.

Here's a format you can work with and an example below that is pretty much what I would submit if I were looking for a partner right now.

And with the set up of speed dating, you can meet a bunch of people and decide who you want to get to know better. Tada.

(Oh and while you are interested, last month Sarah shared a picture and we asked you to guess what it was.... it was...goat soap! Thanks again to Sarah and to all who participated!

1) Name/Nickname.

2) Genre of writing/reading Interest:
 List some reading favs too.

3) What you are writing and how far you are:

4) Any publishing credits we can see?
 Show us :)

5) What I want in a crit partner:

6) Contact info and links:

So here we go:
1) Name/Nickname. Kate, or maj if we dont want to be on a first name basis.

2) Genre of writing/reading Interest: Historical, mainly from 1700 to 1912. I do read some realistic YA and dystopian if thats your thing. You can see a list of some of my favorite books (although outdated) here:http://majesticgoldenrose.tripod.com/books.html and in a few words I love Deeanne Gist's Maid to Match. Also, Lynn Austins Candle in the Darkness Series. Those would be historical as good as Ive seen lately.  List some favs if you want guys, or your Goodreads account, if you have one.

3) What you are writing and how far you are: My book is somewhat coming of age, but I think it would appeal to adults too. Its historical, about 1871 or some other random year post civil war. Pretty much the female MC is all upset that her brother works himself to death and does the. exact. same. thing. um... almost. Its going to be pretty cool, going to be because I'm finishing my first draft as I write this post (procrastination, yeah!!!). I started plotting summer of 2013. It might be a while until I send via carrier pigeon anything to you. Thats your fine print.

4) Any publishing credits we can see?
Havent been published, dont have an agent. :( Still, you can read one short book I did a few years ago here: http://majesticgoldenrose.tripod.com/charlotte-s-family.html

5) What I want in a crit partner:
a) emails round the clock and responds with reasonable timing.
b) will edit in Google Docs
Picture
c) will bug me to type up my stuff as we go (I write in handwriting)

6) Contact info and links:  You could comment below (guys list your blog contact page) or email me at my blog username at some of the popular email domains. I have two at popular emails, your bound to pick the right one eventually. And my three tips gives you a big hint for one of them. :)

Hey Kate! :)

I got your comment on my blog and thought I'd reply by commenting on your blog. ;)

So finding a company to sponsor you for a review or giveaway can be a little hard... In the emails I send out, I normally introduce myself, give my blog name, explain what my blog is mostly dedicated to, then ask if they are willing to partner with my blog to host a review *and/or* giveaway. I then close the email by sincerely thanking them for their time!

I would suggest starting small... some shops on Zibbet.com... I would say Etsy.com, but they will shut your account down if you do that. ;) It can get really frustrating when you email a lot of people and they all say no... just keep trying!

Go to the beginning of my blog and see what I was reviewing at that time... you might consider contacting those companies!

Hope that helps! :):)
Blessings!
~Eden

Here is this information, and I'll invite some friends as well:

1) Name/Nickname.
Cherise Taylor, or Silence by most. Either is fine.

2) Genre of writing/reading Interest: I read and write in many spread genres. Most of my writing falls between genres or combines them. I work a lot with fantasy, science fiction, dystopia, and thriller. Thriller is one of my favorites. Some of my favorite books include Saint by Ted Dekker, This Present Darkness by Frank Perretti, The Shadow Children by Margaret Peterson Haddix, among a host of other unpublished works that I’ve had the pleasure of editing and critiquing in the past.

3) What you are writing and how far you are:
What I am writing depends on the project. At this current time I’m re-drafting a YA science fiction. I’m about 15,000 words in and close to 20 chapters with a long way to go still. I’m also working on re-drafting (plotting right now) a fantasy (from the days of Arthur and Camelot) murder mystery titled Tip the Cradle. I have a whole host of partially written things because I tend to skip back and forth between projects and have trouble finishing.

4) Any publishing credits we can see? I have a blog on which I publish many of my short stories and have had two short story series. (This blog is now open to guest posts if anyone is interested.) http://theauthorslair.blogspot.com/p/blog-page_1.html

I have two works published currently and available for sale on Amazon or Create Space. They are listed under a pen name. Here is a link with descriptions: http://theauthorslair.blogspot.com/p/blog-page_31.html

5) What I want in a crit partner:
A) Someone interested in helping me explore and plan ideas.
B) Someone who is available by email or text and will respond with reasonable timing.
C) Someone who is willing to put up with my sarcastic behavior.
D) Someone willing to edit in either Google Docs or PDF file.
E) Someone who will bug me to make sure that my characters are different.
F) Someone who will keep on me to finish projects.

6) Contact info and links:
I can be emailed at nevermoreemergingflame@gmail.com or contacted by text at 785-454-1013. You can find my blog at: http://theauthorslair.blogspot.com/p/blog-page_1.html. I am TigerLilly17 on NanoWrimo.
